Italy is a strategic market for the further expansion of the InPost Group, which, by the end of the third quarter of 2024, recorded a 33% increase in delivery points across the country compared to the same period last year.

“Thanks to commercial agreements with leading partners—including large retail chains, service areas, and public transportation companies—as well as a growing number of merchants hosting our pickup points, such as newsstands, tobacconists, and stationery stores,” commented Pasquale Pelosio, Head of Acquisition at InPost Italy, “our network is becoming increasingly widespread. Today, there are over 3,000 InPost lockers with 195,000 compartments ready to hold packages purchased online by Italians. Over 400 e-commerce platforms have already chosen to offer our delivery service, allowing users to pick up their online purchases with complete freedom and security. Picking up from a locker means access to a 24/7 service and guaranteed results, avoiding wasted time waiting for home deliveries or chasing lost packages.”

We are the only logistics operator specializing exclusively in out-of-home deliveries. In the third quarter of 2024, as a Group, we managed 262.5 million parcels, a significant 25% increase compared to the same period last year.

We achieved another quarter of substantial revenue growth (+22.6%), reaching 2,535.2 million PLN. Volume growth was particularly notable in the United Kingdom and Italy, where we successfully delivered 30.1 million parcels during the same period.

Shipping with InPost allows customers to independently and freely manage their deliveries while maintaining privacy. Choosing to pick up a package from a locker or an InPost point avoids the time waste and inconveniences typical of home deliveries while guaranteeing a first-attempt delivery. The efficiency of the service also translates into significant environmental benefits. By optimizing transportation and reducing road traffic, opting for out-of-home delivery helps lower emissions, noise pollution, and the risk of accidents.

Rome, Milan, Naples, Turin, and Palermo are the cities with the highest concentration of lockers and InPost points, which are now found in all regions of Italy, including the South and islands.
