Lockers in Supermarkets: More Convenience for You, Even While You Shop
Tuesday, July 15, 2025 - 11:20
Doing your grocery shopping and picking up or sending a parcel in one go? With our lockers in supermarkets, it’s not only possible — it’s something you really love!
Between January 13 and February 5, 2025, we launched a survey through our digital channels. Over 11,000 of you took part and shared how you use our lockers and how much they've become part of your daily routine.
Here’s what you told us:
- More than 90% of you gave our supermarket locker service a thumbs up;
- 67.6% use a locker at least once a month, and 13.7% even several times a week;
- 77% take the opportunity to do some grocery shopping when picking up or sending a parcel;
- Over 85% are satisfied with the overall locker experience.
These numbers confirm we’re on the right track: placing lockers in places you already visit — like the supermarket — means saving time, simplifying your routine, and offering a service that’s right where you need it.
That’s exactly why we’re continuing to grow our network across supermarkets and large retailers throughout Italy.
One of our latest partnerships is with Multicedi, a major retail group in Southern and Central Italy behind brands like Decò, Dodecà, and Sebòn. Together, we’ve already activated 16 lockers across Campania, Puglia, Lazio, and Molise — and 30 more are coming soon, including in Abruzzo.
“This survey confirmed that integrating e-commerce and supermarkets is a real opportunity to improve your everyday life. We’ll keep investing to bring even more convenient and sustainable solutions closer to your home,” said Pasquale Pelosio, Head of Network Acquisition at InPost Italy.
Giovanni Lupo, Marketing Manager at Multicedi, echoed our enthusiasm: “Thanks to this strategic partnership, we’re offering our customers an extra, innovative and fast service — making their shopping experience even more complete”.
Today, we have a network of over 3,700 lockers and more than 5,000 pick-up points across Italy.
And we’re still growing — to be even closer to you.
