More and more people who shop on Subito.it are choosing us!

Rome, Milan, Turin, Naples, Genoa, Bologna, Palermo, Florence, Padua, Verona: these are the top ten Italian cities where online buyers are increasingly choosing out-of-home delivery — using our lockers or InPost Points — and we couldn’t be more excited about this trend.

We analyzed the shipments handled in 2024 for Subito, and what we discovered is impressive: customers who chose us for their deliveries showed a +97.4% growth compared to the previous year.

But who are the users opting for out-of-home delivery? Subito’s data reveals that they are mostly residents of large urban centers, drawn to flexible, secure, and cost-effective logistics solutions — like those offered by InPost, the leader in out-of-home delivery.

As for the most purchased products, electronics are no longer the only dominant category. Subito reports strong growth across diverse sectors: collectibles have seen a +77% increase, becoming the top category in terms of transactions on the platform. The second-hand fashion segment is also on the rise: bags, watches, shoes, and luxury accessories are among the most traded items.

Another important aspect is sustainability. Many users who buy or sell second-hand items on Subito choose recycled packaging or materials they already have at home, helping to reduce the environmental impact of shipments. This eco-consciousness also aligns with the preference for InPost: according to the research "The environmental impact of e-commerce deliveries" — conducted by Netcomm, Politecnico di Milano, and B2C Logistics — out-of-home deliveries can reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 38% compared to home deliveries.

To strengthen our collaboration with Subito and encourage adoption of out-of-home delivery, Subito was one of the key brands featured in the first edition of InPost Days. From May 12 to 15, buyers had the chance to benefit from special shipping rates to lockers and InPost Points. The results on Subito were overwhelmingly positive: the second-hand platform recorded a 77% increase in transactions, while shipments via InPost saw a 150% growth compared to the same four days the previous week.
